Like my dad, I am fascinated with Harry Houdini. My poem about the great Harry "it was a time of miracles" appears in TRAMPOLINE.
As a note, the tricks mentioned in the poem (e.g., Giant Milk Can) are historically accurate, as is the reference to Houdini's pursuit of spiritualists. The last stanza contains a reference to another of Harry's tricks, but I won't spoil the fun.

You can find three of my poems in the experimental journal OTOLITHS: "They burned all of it", "Interior Bedroom/Bleating Cries" and a prose poem, "practice.". The second, another of my film noir poems, more of which will appear in a forthcoming chapbook, woman on the run.
