Every year around this time, I start thinking about great food...writing. Let others dream of the perfect roast turkey and yams with marshmallows (no thanks.) I yearn for the laugh fest of Calvin Trillin's take on America's food day-- and his comic, but true, recognition of our immigrant roots.
