Various Authors: a Fiction Desk anthology -- FREE download

I've been very impressed with several of the stories in Fiction's Desk freebie anthology, Volume 1, which blends different styles of writing.  You can download an electronic copy here.  Various Authors: a Fiction Desk anthology:

A standout in the collection (which is generally excellent) is Patrick Whittaker's "Celia and Harold."  The writer has won the British Fantasy Society's short story competition for another of his stories, although this was my first encounter with his work.
This one involves a man trapped in a gloomy wet town called Midwick, in which all men are doomed to be Henry Mason, scarred, miserable, and enraged about a neurotic woman named Celia Cartwright.  A funny absurdist take on the "power of love."
