Speaking of places to find new books: there's Bookgoodies, which is a site catering to the indies. It's loaded with features, interviews, book discussions -- and even Podcasts. There are quite a few entertaining ones up right now, on subjects ranging from Memoir to Marketing.
I was fortunate enough to participate in a lively discussion about Book Genres -- their importance to readers, as well as their critical importance to authors who are trying to reach their audience.
